North Kerry Coast

Stunning! On a beautiful sunny day in Kerry, we traveled around The Ring and found this lovely coastal vista along the road to Tralee. Looking down on Tralee Bay we felt like we were on the top of the world. When we showed this to a local Irishman, who now lives in the US, with a soft brogue, he said, 'The water's not that blue". We laughed and assured him that the sun shone brightly just for us that day and that, yes, it really was that blue!

The Ring of Kerry is arguably the most scenic route in Ireland. With views like this to behold around every curve of the road, it is no wonder!

Lakes of Killarney

Lough Leane is the largest of the three Lakes of Killarney. On this bright day, everything seemed to come to life with vivid color. It was a rare treat to see the purple on the mountains!

Storm Beach, Kilmurry Bay

This beautiful privately owned storm beach on the Bay sits alongside the ruins of Minard Castle. Nearby Saint John's Holy Well is shared by the owners for local worship services.

Torc Mountain

From Torc waterfall, this stream runs down the mountain and is nestled within a woodland setting complete with moss covered trees and rocks. A lovely place for a peaceful rest!
